Bookkeeper in Raymond, NH

Plain bookkeeping for Raymond's small trades and one-person businesses, done online from Atkinson.

Yes. A small business in Raymond can work with me, Angel Wallace. I am a solo bookkeeper and Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor in Atkinson, New Hampshire, in the same county as Raymond. The work is online, in QuickBooks Online or a Google Sheet, and a free consult is the way in.

Raymond started out as Freetown, a parish of Chester settled by families from Exeter, and took its present name when it was incorporated in 1764. The railroad arrived in 1850 and is gone now. The restored depot houses the Raymond Historical Society, and the old line is a rail trail. A state historical marker in town remembers Frank J. Mafera, who patented a way of weaving chain link fencing in 1930 and then started a fence company right here. That is a good picture of a Raymond business: one person, one useful skill, and a company built on it. People like that are who I keep books for, and their paperwork is usually the last job of the day.

The main village sits along the Lamprey River near Route 27, and the Dudley-Tucker Library has looked over the Common since 1908. The Lamprey and the Exeter River both drain the town. Dumplingtown Hill is the high point, out by the western border, and part of Pawtuckaway State Park reaches into the north. State routes 27, 101, 102, 107 and 156 all cross Raymond, which matters to anyone whose work is done on the road. Atkinson is about 14 miles to the south. I work online, so that gap is only a number.

Where I work

How local and remote work runs

Nothing about this needs an office visit. A Raymond owner with a truck and a phone can handle their side from wherever the day's job is. If you use QuickBooks Online, you share access and I work in your file. If a Google Sheet suits you better, I build it and you keep it. Calls are by phone or video.

Raymond questions

Bookkeeping questions from Raymond

Do you keep books for businesses up in Raymond, NH?

Yes. I work from Atkinson, which is in Rockingham County just as Raymond is, and I take on small businesses across the area. It makes no difference that the two towns do not touch. Your records are kept online, either in QuickBooks Online or in a Google Sheet that belongs to you, and that is where I do the work.

QuickBooks Desktop is still what my Raymond shop uses. Can you work with that?

QuickBooks Online is the only version I work in, which means Desktop books are not something I keep. If switching has been on your mind, raise it when you and I talk. You will hear what the move away from Desktop takes, one step after another, and the choice stays yours.

Can a small Raymond business get by on a Google Sheet?

Often, yes. If you are new or very small, with a few customers, one business bank account and no staff, a carefully built sheet does everything you need. Accounting software would be more than the job calls for. The free consult is where you and I find out whether that describes your Raymond business.

What would a custom sheet keep track of for me?

Money coming in, money going out, invoices and mileage, plus anything particular to your trade. With five state routes crossing Raymond, mileage is worth doing right. Each trip goes in with its date, because the IRS standard rate changed partway through 2026 and the date decides which rate your preparer applies.
