Bookkeeper in Londonderry, NH

Orchard country with an airport on its edge. Bookkeeping for Londonderry small businesses.

Yes, Londonderry owners can hire a bookkeeper who does every bit of the work herself. I am Angel Wallace. I run Business Untangled alone in Atkinson, toward the other end of Rockingham County, as an Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor. You and I start with a free consult, by phone or video.

Londonderry was first called Nutfield, for the nut trees in its dense woods, and later took the name of a place in Ulster. It is known for its apple orchards. The town has long been tied to names like Mack's Apples, Sunnycrest Farm and Elwood Orchards, and apple picking is a popular fall activity. There is no concentrated downtown. Business gathers in pockets instead: near the interstate on Nashua Road, along Mammoth Road, and up north by the airport. Between those pockets are home-based businesses that start small, sometimes with nothing more than a notebook. For a Londonderry owner at that stage I can build a Google Sheet that does the job, and move you to QuickBooks Online when you are ready.

Mammoth Road is the main north-south route, and the Town Hall and the schools sit along a rural stretch of it near the geographic center. Nashua Road crosses South Londonderry, and Rockingham Road cuts through North Londonderry on its way from Derry to Manchester. Number Eight Hill, the high point, takes its name from an old school house that used to stand on it. Half of Manchester-Boston Regional Airport lies in the northwest corner. Students become Lancers at Londonderry High School. Atkinson is about twelve miles east of Londonderry, out past Derry.

Where I work

How local and remote work runs

With no town center to meet in, Londonderry suits working online anyway. A starter business gets a Google Sheet that I build and you keep. A larger one connects its accounts to QuickBooks Online and invites me in. Both ways, a question is a phone or video call, not a trip down Mammoth Road.

Londonderry questions

Bookkeeping questions from Londonderry

Is Londonderry, NH inside the area you serve?

Yes. Londonderry sits on the western side of Rockingham County and I am toward the eastern side, in Atkinson. The gap does not affect the work, which happens in a shared Google Sheet or in QuickBooks Online. A free consult will tell you and me whether I am the right help.

What would a custom Google Sheet actually keep track of?

Money in, money out, the invoices you have sent and the miles you drive for work, plus anything particular to your business that you want to watch. Mileage entries carry dates, because the federal mileage rate changed partway through 2026 and your preparer needs to know which trips fall where.

How will I know my Londonderry business has outgrown its spreadsheet?

You will start doubting it. That usually happens when a second or third payment app shows up, when there are several accounts to follow, when you begin paying helpers, or when a lender wants statements. Because the sheet has kept your records in order, shifting them into QuickBooks Online is a straightforward job.

Who owns the spreadsheet after you build it?

You do. I design the sheet around how your business earns and spends, and then I hand it over to you. From that point you can keep using it entirely by yourself, for as long as it serves you, whether or not you ever call me again.
