Bookkeeper in Windham, NH

Bookkeeping for Windham owners who fit a business around a commute and a family.

Yes, a Windham business can get a bookkeeper without adding a commute. I am Angel Wallace. Business Untangled is my one-woman bookkeeping practice in Atkinson, east of you, and I hold Intuit's Advanced ProAdvisor credential for QuickBooks. It begins with a free consult, and a quote comes only after I see your statements.

Your bookkeeper in Windham

Windham began as a parish of Londonderry, part of the Scots-Irish settlement once known as Nutfield, before it became a town in its own right. Today it is considered a bedroom community: subdivisions, open land, Cobbetts Pond and Canobie Lake, and a single interstate interchange at Exit 3. A town built that way tends to do its business from home offices, garages and vans more than from storefronts. Those owners are often doing the books late, after a commute and dinner. That is the owner I work with. I take the reconciling and the reports off your hands, or I teach you a faster routine in your own Windham file.

Searles Castle, which Edward Francis Searles had modeled on a manor in Oxfordshire, England, is the landmark visitors remember, along with the Searles School and Chapel and the Armstrong Memorial Building. Neighbors meet at the Strawberry Festival that the Friends of the Library host each June, and again at the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. NH 111 changes names as it crosses town, from Haverhill Road to Indian Rock Road to Range Road, and the paved rail trail runs on into Derry. Atkinson is about seven miles east of Windham, with Salem lying in between.

Where I work

How local and remote work runs

There is no public transportation in Windham, and this is one errand that needs none. Your accounts connect to QuickBooks Online, or to a Google Sheet for a smaller operation, and I work in the same file you see. A consult is a call from your kitchen, by phone or by video.

Windham questions

Bookkeeping questions from Windham

Do you take on bookkeeping for Windham, NH businesses?

Yes. Windham is one of the Rockingham County towns I serve from Atkinson. Because the work happens inside your QuickBooks Online file or a shared sheet, a business near Cobbetts Pond is as easy for me to keep as one down my own road. A free consult is where you and I start.

Why is there no price list on your site?

Because one flat number would overcharge a quiet Windham home business and undercharge a busy one. The fair way is to look first. I go through your statements at no charge, then give you a quote built on what is actually there. The consult that comes before any of that is free as well.

Do a catch-up project and ongoing monthly books get quoted the same way?

No, they are quoted separately. A cleanup or catch-up happens once, so its quote turns on how many months have slipped and how many accounts need attention. Monthly bookkeeping keeps going, so that quote follows the volume of activity your business sees in a typical month.

Would I save money keeping my own Windham books?

Counted in money, often yes. Counted in hours, usually no. The calculator on my bookkeeping cost page sets your own time beside market rates, and then you decide what an evening is worth to you. A middle path exists too: keep entering things yourself and add QuickBooks Online support alongside.
